Funded by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, the Nursery School is housed in a charming brick and flint purpose-build school with exciting garden areas. Children from a delightfully wide range of backgrounds attend for either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons, graduating to full-time in their final term. Lunch, Breakfast and Holiday Activity Clubs are also available. Caring and enthusiastic, qualified teachers and nursery nurses carefully plan and organise to provide for and extend children's learning and development. Time and space are available for the children to learn happily and effectively through play, active investigation, enquiry, first hand experience and talk. Each child is treated equally, regardless of race, gender and social background. The school aims to provide an exciting learning environment where each child and adult feels valued, in an atmosphere which is both happy and secure. Parents and carers are encouraged to work in partnership with the staff to support the children's learning. The school has a termly 'Toddler Day' when family, friends and neighbours are all welcomed along to have fun! Margaret Brett, the Headteacher is also very happy to accommodate formal visits. |
